TORQUE ROD A N D BRACKET
Removal
1. Support the axle housing so that it w ill not p ivot when
torque rod is loosened.
2. R em ove nuts and b olts that secu re the torque rod
bracket to fram e crossm em b er. R em ove spacer and
allow torque rod to p ivot downward until it rests on
housing.
3. Rem ove nut fro m
torque rod stud at axle housing
bracket.

rem o ve stud nut, then p res s stud fro m fram e b racket
in an a rb or p ress.
Installation
1. Position
torque
rod
bracket and nut. Torqu e nut to sp ecification s. Install
