Throttle V a lv e Linkage A djustm ent L-6 Models
W ith a c c e le ra to r pedal depressed, b e ll crank on L -6
m odels must be at wide open throttle position.
Rod must be 1/64"-1/16" o ff le v e r stop and trans­
m ission le v e r must be against transm ission internal
stop.
V - 8 M o d e ls W ith U n i-D irec tio n a l Linkage
1. R em ove a ir cleaner.
2. Disconnect a c c e le ra to r linkage at carburetor.
3. Disconnect a c c e le ra to r return and T .V . rod return
springs.
4. With righ t hand, pull T .V . upper rod fo rw a rd until
tran sm ission is through detent. With le ft hand, open
carb u retor to side open throttle position.

5. Adjust sw iv e l on end of upper T .V . rod to obtain set­
