Similarly, the Switchboard application displays a similar window with the list of system devices that are not
aligned with your version of UPTK (for further details see the Switchboard installation and use manual
which can be downloaded from the website www.urmet.com).
In all three cases reported above, the VOG
do not have the "OK" and "STATUS" buttons in the screen that notifies the presence of devices with
misaligned UPTK.
According to what is written above, it is therefore of fundamental importance:
add new devices to a system only after having updated them to the correct IPerCom version using
the IPerUpgrade application for Windows operating system, available with the relevant manual on
the website www.urmet.com;
always update (also via the IPerUpgrade application) the Switchboard and IPerCom Client
applications when a system has been updated to a more recent IPerCom version.
The Switchboard and IPerCom Client applications can also be updated by downloading the relevant
executable files from the website www.urmet.com.
If one or more 1060/1 Servers are present in the system and in configuration and at least one has the
"Automatic update by Server" option enabled, it is also possible to connect devices to the system that are
not aligned with the correct IPerCom version: these will be updated in automatically by the Server itself.
Similarly, if you start one of the out-of-date Switchboard and IPerCom Client applications, the Server will
take care of updating them to the correct version.
After updating the non-aligned devices to the correct IPerCom version, the screen notifying the
misalignment automatically disappears.
However, if the not-aligned devices are disconnected from the system, the message on the video door
phones automatically disappears within 30 minutes. This operation can be speeded up using the Restart the
system button of IPerCom Installer Tools (see the
The Updating Device List function is present only on the IPerCom Installer Tools application but not
on the video door phones nor on the Switchboard application, which only allow displaying the list of
devices not aligned with the local UPTK version.
The "OK" button makes the message disappear, but it reappears every time you enter the system
configuration from the video door phone (see paragraph
