Use this procedure to remove motor axis 5.

CAUTION
Always cut the paint with a knife and grind the paint edge when disassembling
parts. See Cut the paint or surface on the robot before replacing parts on page
Action
DANGER
Turn off all:
• electric power supply
• hydraulic pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot
working area.

Drain the oil from gearbox axis 5.
Cut the paint layer with a knife in the joint
between the wrist unit and the upper arm
tube to avoid that the paint cracks.
Remove the wrist unit.
Place the wrist safely on a workbench, in a
fixture or similar.
