4.6.1 Replacing motor axis 1

Use this procedure to connect motor axis 1.

Action
Lower the motor into position, making sure
that:
• the motor pinion is properly mated to
the gear of gearbox of axis 1
• the motor pinion does not get dam-
aged
• the motor is turned the correct way
as shown in the figure in
motor axis 1 on page
Secure the motor with its attachment screws
and washers.
Tightening torque: 50 NM.
Disconnect the 24 VDC power supply.
Action
Fit a new gasket on the cable gland.
Reconnect all connectors of motor axis 1.
Refit the cable gland cover at the cable exit
with its attachment screws.
Refit the motor cover with its attachment
screws.
