4.5.3 Replacement of spherical roller bearing, balancing device
Action
Press in the sealing washer and the sealing.
Refit the new bearing and sealings.
Apply grease to the new sealing rings and
o-rings and fit them.
Refit the end cover.
Refit the balancing device to the robot.
Lubricate the spherical roller bearing in the
ear.
Note
The balancing device must be mounted on
the robot when lubrication is performed!
Make sure no incorrect leakage occurs. It
could indicate damaged o-rings.
Seal and paint the joints that have been
opened. See Cut the paint or surface on the
robot before replacing parts on page 219
