Inspecting the cable harness

Turn off all:
•
electric power supply
•
air pressure supply
to the robot, before starting the inspection work
on the robot.
Remove all covers required to achieve visibility
of all cabling.
Visually inspect all arm cabling.
Look for abrasions, cuts or crush damages.
If any damage is detected, replace the complete
robot arm.
Inspect that the cabling is lubricated properly.
If needed, apply grease evenly on the moving part
of the cable harness.
It is normal that the grease color turns into black.
Refit all covers.
If any cover is damaged, it must be replaced.
CAUTION
Be careful not to squeeze any cabling during the
refitting procedure.
