3.5 Cleaning activities

3.5.1 Cleaning the IRB 14000
Turn off all electrical power supplies to the robot before starting the cleaning.
General
To secure high uptime it is important that the IRB 14000 is cleaned regularly. The
frequency of cleaning depends on the environment in which the manipulator works.
Different cleaning methods are allowed depending on the type of protection of the
IRB 14000.
Always verify the protection type of the robot before cleaning.

Never use compressed air to clean the robot!

Never remove any covers or other protective devices before cleaning the
robot!
