Figure 38-6 shows the MIR demodulation state machine. It has similar structure as FIR demodulation
state machine. Instead of 4 PPM demodulation phase, it has the stage of removing stuffed bits from
payload data stream. Since the MIR data stream doesn't have preamble data, the preamble/start flag
data detection stage in MIR demodulation is simplified to start flag detection state.
