SPARK PLUG INSPECTION

Remove the engine cover.
Remove the two mud guard clips (1) from the upper
side of under cover grommet (2).
Detach the upper side of the under cover grommet.
Remove the two bolts (1) and plug hole coil cover (2).
Remove the socket bolts (1) and pull out each ignition
coil (2) from the corresponding spark plug.
Disconnect the ignition coil 3P connector (3) from the
ignition coil.
Remove the ignition coils.
• Take care not to drop the ignition coils. Do not reuse
the ignition coil if dropped.
Remove the spark plugs (1) using a spark plug wrench
(2).
• Before removing the spark plugs, clean any dirt or
dust from around the spark plug bases to prevent
foreign material from entering the engine.
