2. Check whether the throttle arm (1) is in contact with
the full open position stopper (2).
Perform the adjustment (page 3-11) if the throttle
arm is not in contact with the stopper.
3. With the throttle arm in contact with the full open
position stopper, measure the clearance between
the throttle cam (1) of the throttle body assembly
and full open position stopper (2). It should be 1.0
mm (0.04 in) or below.
Perform the adjustment (page 3-11) if the clearance
is larger than specified.
4. Return the remote control lever to the "N" (Neutral)
position.
Check that the throttle cam (1) of the throttle body is
at the fully closed position.
Measure the clearance between the throttle cam of
the throttle body assembly and full close position
stopper (2). It should be 1.0 mm (0.04 in) or below.
Perform the adjustment (page 3-11) if the clearance
is larger than specified.
