Remove the piston rod (1) from the cylinder (2).
Remove the two O-rings (3) from the cylinder cap/
piston rod (4). (2)

Remove the free piston (1), backup ring (2) and O-ring

(3) from the cylinder (4).
Check the sliding surface of the free piston and backup

ring surface for wear or damage, replace it if necessary.
Drain the ATF from the cylinder.
