OTHER ELECTRICAL
Connect a battery as shown. There must be continuity/
no continuity between the terminals shown.
• Use a known-good battery for the test.
Positive (+) battery terminal connected to Light
green terminal:
Between Green and Black
Between Blue and Black
Between Green and White
Between Blue and White
Positive (+) battery terminal connected to Light blue
terminal:
Between Green and Black
Between Blue and Black
Between Green and White
Between Blue and White

TRIM ANGLE SENSOR INSPECTION

Remove the two trim angle sensor mounting bolts (1)
and make the trim angle sensor (2) free.
Remove the L. engine under cover (page 6-4).
Remove the trim angle sensor 3P connector (1) from
the connector bracket and disconnect it.
Attach the tester leads to the trim angle sensor
connectors and measure the resistance.
Resistance between Light green/
Black and Black
Resistance between Yellow/Blue
and Black
