CYLINDER BLOCK
Install the connecting rod bearing (1) to the connecting
rod (2) by aligning the tab (3) of the connecting rod
bearing with the groove (4) of the connecting rod.
Apply molybdenum disulfide oil to the connecting rod
bearing surface.
Apply molybdenum disulfide oil to the crankshaft main
journal, crank pin, thrust washer contacting surfaces.
Install the crankshaft (5) to the cylinder block as shown.
Apply engine oil to the thrust washers (1) and install
them to the cylinder block No.4 journal.
• Install the thrust washers with their oil grooves
facing out as shown.
