Remove the following bolts from the under side of the
mounting case (1).
• Bolt (8 × 100 mm) (2)
• Bolt (10 × 80 mm) (3)
• Two bolts (10 × 110 mm) (4)
• Hex bolt (12 × 70 mm) (5)
• Two hex bolts (12 × 130 mm) (6)
• Three washers (12 mm) (7)
Lift up the engine assembly slowly with a hoist, and
remove the engine from the engine mounting case.
When lifting the engine assembly, take care to keep it
level.
Remove the following:
– Dowel pin (10 × 16 mm) (8)
– Dowel pin (14 × 20 mm) (9)
– Mounting case gasket (10)
– Exhaust gasket (11)
– Oil pump rubber (12)
– Shift shaft B (13)
– Shift shaft washer (14)
