Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.
Specifies the password for text authentication and the key for MD5 authentication for
RIP remote-neighbor interface. The no version clears the key for the interface. Supported
only in RIP version 2. Authentication is disabled by default.
0—Indicates the authKey is entered in unencrypted form (plaintext); this is the default
option
8—Indicates the authKey is entered in encrypted form (ciphertext)
authkey—Password sent with RIP messages or the key used to encrypt/decrypt RIP
messages, depending on the authentication mode set for this remote-neighbor interface.
