VLAN Commands

Command
Function
vlan database
Enters the VLAN Configuration mode.
vlan
Use the vlan VLAN Configuration mode command to create a
VLAN. To delete a VLAN, use the no form of this command.
default-vlan vlan
to create a VLAN
interface vlan
Enters the Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode.
interface range vlan Enables simultaneously configuring multiple VLANs.
name
Adds a name to a VLAN. To remove the VLAN name, use the no
form of this command.
map protocol
Maps a protocol to a group of protocols.
protocols-group
switchport general
Maps a protocol to a group of protocols.
map
protocols-group vlan
switchport mode
Configures the VLAN membership mode of a port. To return to the
default configuration, use the no form of this command.
switchport access
Configures the VLAN ID when the interface is in access mode. To

command.
switchport trunk
Adds or removes VLANs to or from a trunk port.
allowed vlan

Defines the native VLAN when the interface is in trunk mode. To

Forbids adding specific VLANs to a port. To return to the default
