• Privacy — Encrypts SNMP messages.
• Operation — Defines the group access rights. The possible field values are:
• Read — Management access is restricted to read-only, and changes cannot be
made to the assigned SNMP view.
• Write — Management access is read-write and changes can be made to the
assigned SNMP view.
• Notify — Sends traps for the assigned SNMP view.
• Remove — Removes SNMP groups. The possible field values are:
• Checked — Removes the selected SNMP group.
• Unchecked — Maintains the SNMP groups.
Web – Click System, SNMP, Security, Groups. Click New to configure a user name.
In the New User page, define a name and assign it to a group, then click Add to save
the configuration and return to the User Name list. To delete a user, check the box
next to the user name, then click Delete. To change the assigned group of a user,
click Change Group in the Actions column of the users table and select the new
group.
