Command Function
show sntp Shows the configuration of the Simple Network Time Protocol
configuration (SNTP).
show sntp status Shows the status of the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP).

clock set

The Privileged EXEC mode command manually sets the system clock.
clock set
Syntax
hh mm
clock set :

clock set :
Parameters
• hh mm ss — Current time in hours (military format), minutes, and seconds
: :
(hh: 0 - 23, mm: 0 - 59, ss: 0 - 59).
• day — Current day (by date) in the month (1 - 31).
• month — Current month using the first three letters by name (Jan, ..., Dec).
• year — Current year (2000 - 2097).
Default Setting
This command has no default configuration.

Example
The following example sets the system time to 13:32:00 on the 7th March 2002.
Console# clock set 13:32:00 7 Mar 2002
