rmon event

The rmon event Global Configuration mode command configures an event. To
remove an event, use the

rmon event
no rmon event
Parameters
• index — Specifies the event index. (Range: 1 - 65535)
• type — Specifies the type of notification generated by the device about this
event. Possible values:
• community
sent to the SNMP community specified by this octet string.
(Range: 0-127 characters)

• name — Specifies the name of the person who configured this event. If
unspecified, the name is an empty string.

This command has no default configuration.
