LLDP Commands

Command Function

lldp optional-tlv

To specify which optional TLVs from the basic set should be
transmitted, use the lldp optional-tlv command in interface
configuration mode.
lldp med enable To enable Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) Media Endpoint
Discovery (MED) on an interface, use the lldp med enable
command in interface configuration mode.
lldp med To define LLDP MED network policy, use the lldp med
network-policy network-policy command in global configuration mode.

lldp med To attach an LLDP MED network policy to a port, use the lldp med
network-policy network-policy command in interface configuration mode.

lldp med location To configure location information for the Link Layer Discovery
Protocol (LLDP) Media Endpoint Discovery (MED) for an
interface, use the lldp med location command in interface
configuration mode.
clear lldp rx To restart the LLDP RX state machine and clearing the neighbors
table
show lldp To display the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP)
configuration configuration.
show lldp med To display the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) Media
configuration Endpoint Discovery (MED) configuration, use the show lldp med
configuration command in privileged EXEC mode.
show lldp local To display the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) information
that is advertised from a specific port, use the show lldp local
command in privileged EXEC mode.
show lldp neighbors To display information about neighboring devices discovered
using Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP), use the show lldp
neighbors command in privileged EXEC mode.
lldp optional-tlv
The lldp optional-tlv Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode command specifies
which optional TLVs from the basic set should be transmitted. To revert to the default
setting, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
lldp optional-tlv tlv1 [tlv2 ... tlv5]
no lldp optional-tlv
