Management ACL Commands

Command Function
management Configures a management access list and enters the
access-list Management Access-list Configuration command mode. To
delete an access list, use the no form of this command.
permit Defines a permit rule.
(Management)
deny (Management) Defines a deny rule.
management Restricts management connections by defining the active
access-class management access list. To disable this restriction, use the no
form of this command.
show management Sets the interval that the command interpreter waits until user
access-list input is detected
show management Sets the password intrusion threshold, which limits the number of
access-class failed logon attempts

management access list and enters the Management Access-list Configuration
command mode. To delete an access list, use the

management access-list
no management access-list
Parameters
• name — Access list name. (Range: 1-32 characters)
Default Setting
This command has no default configuration.

Global Configuration mode
Command Usage
Use this command to configure a management access list. The command
enters the Access-list Configuration mode, where permit and deny access
rules are defined using the
commands.
If no match criteria are defined, the default is deny.
