Acessing the Communication Manager SAT
CLI
You can access the command line interface (CLI) of the Avaya Communication Manager SAT using any
of the following methods:
•
Use Telnet over the Customer LAN
•
Use Avaya Terminal Emulator for LAN Connection to Communication Manager
•
Use Windows for PPP Modem Connection (Windows 2000 or XP)
This connection requires you to have a modem on your PC. It also requires you to do the
following first:
— Set up Windows for Modem Connection to the Media Server (Windows 2000 or XP)

— Configure the Remote PC for PPP Modem Connection (Windows 2000 or XP, Terminal
Emulator, or ASA)
