the hose end is completely submerged in the
fluid.
Bleed the cylinder or caliper as follows:
• Open the bleed fitting.
m Have a helper press and hold the brake
pedal to the floor.
• Tighten the bleed fitting and have the helper
release the pedal slowly.
• Continue the bleeding operation until fluid
flowing into the glass container is clear and
free of air bubbles.
NOTE: Do not allow the master cylinder to run
out of fluid during the bleeding process. Check
the cylinder reservoirs frequently and refill as
needed.
Repeat the bleeding procedure at the remaining
wheels.
Discard the brake fluid remaining in the glass
container.
Top off the master cylinder reservoirs to within
6 mm (1/4 inch) of the reservoir rims.
Install the master cylinder cover.
Check brake operation before moving the
vehicle.
