Stabilizer Bar Installation
Inspect the bushings in the stabilizer bar
mounting brackets (5). Replace the bushings if
cracked, cut, distorted, or worn.
Install the mounting bracket and bushing as-
semblies on the stabilizer bar.
Position the stabilizer bar in the vehicle.
Align the stabilizer bar mounting brackets and
install the attaching bolts (4). Do not tighten the
bolts at this time.
Align the stabilizer bar with the links (2) and
install the link bolts and nuts.
TRACK BARS
Front Track Bar
Removal
Raise the vehicle.
Remove the bolt and nut that attach the track
bar (A) to the frame rail bracket (B).
Remove the bolt and nut that attach the track
bar to the axle bracket (C).
Remove the track bar.
Tighten the stabilizer bar mounting bracket
bolts (4) to 41 Hm (30 ft-lbs) torque.
