Insert the magnet (66) in the rear c a s e .
Apply a 3mm (1/8-in.) wide bead of Loctite 515,
or equivalent, to the sealing surface of the front
c a s e .
Align the dowel holes (F) in the two c a s e halves
and mount the rear c a s e (53) on the front c a s e
(10).
Insert the locating dowels in the c a s e dowel
holes (F) and install the dowel attaching bolts.
Install the remaining front case-to-rear c a s e
attaching bolts. Tighten all of the front case-to-
rear c a s e bolts to 30 Mm torque.
Install a replacement oil seal (56) in the pump
housing (57) with tool J 33835.

C o a t the t a b s on the p u m p h o u s i n g with
petroleum jelly and install the housing in the
rear retainer.
Apply a 3mm (1/8-in.) bead of Loctite 515, or
equivalent, to the sealing surface of the rear
retainer (60). T h e n align and install the retainer
on the rear c a s e . Tighten the retainer bolts to
24 N-m (18 ft-lbs) torque.
