OVERHAUL
Remove the cluster gear (40) and the cluster
gear bearing races (37-42) a s an assembly. T a g
the races for assembly reference.

R e m o v e the cluster gear front bearing (38) and
rear bearing (41) with an arbor p r e s s and
remover tools B.V.I. FM. 07 and B.V.I. FM. 08.
T a g the bearings for assembly reference.

Remove the front bearing preload shim (39)
after b e a r i n g r e m o v a l . T a g the s h i m for
assembly reference.
