Carefully loosen the bleed screw (12). Hold the
bleed screw fitting firmly to prevent it from turn-
ing while loosening the screw. Do not allow the
bleed line (2) to bend or flex when loosening the
screw.
Have a helper press and hold the clutch pedal
to the floor.
Tighten the bleed screw and have the helper
release the clutch pedal.
Check master cylinder fluid level. Add fluid if
necessary. Do not allow the cylinder reservoir
to run out of fluid during bleeding operations.
Repeat the bleeding process until fluid entering
the glass container is free of bubbles.
NOTE: Be sure the bleed hose end remains
submerged in brake fluid during bleeding
operations.
Lower the vehicle.
Fill the clutch master cylinder to the correct
level.
CLUTCH HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FLUID LEVEL
The system fluid is contained in the clutch
master cylinder reservoir.
The correct fluid level is indicated on the side of
the cylinder reservoir.
Do not overfill the reservoir and use specified
fluids only.
