DRIVE 1ELT ADJUSTMENT
Serpentine Drive Belt
Position the belt tension gauge on the belt and
check tension.
If adjustment is necessary, loosen the alternator
adjustment (1) and pivot (2) bolts.
Insert the square drive lug of a 1/2-inch drive
rachet into the adjustment slot (3) of the
alternator mounting bracket. Pivot the bracket to
tighten/loosen the belt as necessary.
Tighten the adjustment (1) and pivot bolts (2)
and recheck tension.
