CHAPTER 6: UNWIND ASSEMBLY

The unwind system stores a film roll for use in making a bag. The
unwind stand contains a combination of fixed and moveable rollers
that aid the registration rollers in removing film from the roll. The
dancer rollers ensure film is pulled smoothly into the bagger by con-
trolling brake pressure. An optional film-splicing table for standard
unwinds will enable operators to change film rolls quickly. An optional
date code printer for zipper machines, is mounted on the unwind stand.
