TRATION ROLLER ASSEMBLY (AMFP) FOR USDA
APPLICATIONS

This roller is currently available only on the Ultima SU.
This registration roller is designed specifically for USDA use on Hays-
senSandiacre Ultima SU machines. On the AMFP registration roller
for USDA applications, the pressure rollers are on the bottom of the
film web. In addition, there are multiple fixed rollers allowing for sim-
ple adjustment. These fixed pressure rollers allow pressure to be
applied equally across the film web.
The stainless steel film rollers have a drive belt to reduce inertia in
these rollers. This reduction of inertia allows the film to stop quicker
for faster application of the zipper, which results in the production of
more bags per minute.

Each roller is preset at the factory with an initial compression of 0.20
Pressure Setting
inches, resulting in a force of 26 pounds per roller set. The registration
roller is designed for all pressure rollers to be set at the same compres-
sion.
