Always ensure the safety lock is engaged before starting the
machine.
The registration rollers pull the film for a length of time determined by
the programmed bag length. As the registration rollers begin pulling,
the dancer assembly rises. This movement causes the brake mechanism
to move away from the brake drum, slowly releasing the brake pad
pressure allowing the spindle to rotate.
The film begins to unwind from the film roll. After the set time, the
registration rollers stop pulling and the dancer rollers lower and apply
pressure to the brake drum through the brake pad and spring pressure.
When the measuring rollers stop pulling, additional film is unwound
and stored in the rollers for the next package as the dancer relaxes.
