Threading Film

If spindle safety locks are installed, engage the locks on
each side
9.
Splice the new film to old film with tape, or thread film
through machine
10.
Engage the brake
11.
Reset the machine
This procedure assumes the machine is completely empty of film.

MPORTANT
Machine threading may vary. Refer to the threading diagram on
the inside of the unwind stand for specific threading instructions.
1.
Bring the machine to a controlled stop.
2.
Release the roll brake.
3.
Follow Removing a Depleted Film Roll procedure.
4.
Follow the Loading a Roll of Film procedure.
5.
Thread the film according the threading diagram.
6.
Engage the roll brake.
7.
Open the front doors of the bagger.
8.
Retract the platen.
9.
Disengage the pull belts.
10.
Thread the film through the forming tube.

Thread film over the top of the roller.
