AMPLE
1.
Select the approximate number of auger revolutions
needed to produce the weight of the package (1-10) and
enter the value by touching the Auger Revs pad.
2.
Touch the Make Sample Bag and Reset Trim Value pad
to produce a filled bag.
3.
Repeat Step 2 four additional times for a total of five (5)
sample bags.
4.
Weigh each bag on a scale and determine the average
weight of the five sample bags.
5.
Touch the Sample Weight pad.
The numeric keypad displays.
6.
Enter the average weight of the five sample bags and
touch Return to save.
This sets the ratio of revolutions to weight.
7.
Touch the Target Weight pad.
The numeric keypad displays.
8.
Enter the target weight and touch Return to save.

MPORTANT
The auger software enters the number of revolutions using sam-
ple weight and the number of revolutions information. A change
in product density may require a change in calibration.
9.
Touch the Return pad in the lower right corner of the
screen to return to the Auger Setup screen.
The start setting for an integrated auger feed system can be timed two
ways:
• using the bagger jaw closed degree value (auto-mode)
• entering a point in the bag making cycle (called the auger
start degree)
To select the type of auger start setting:
1.
Touch the Auger Calibration pad on the Auger Setup
screen.
The Auger Calibration screen displays.
2.
Touch the Auger Start Setting toggle pad.
When the pad reads Jaw Close Degree, the auger is set to start from
the bagger jaw close degree value. When the pad reads Auger Start
Degree, the auger is set to start from a value entered by the operator.
