Servo Actuator Jaw
Drive Belt 1
a. Loosen the hex nut # 4 on tension block assembly
1, # 3.
b. Loosen the two (2) drive motor mounting bolts,
# 5. Access from underneath the support plate.
c. Turn the tension bolt # 6 (CCW) to remove tension
from drive belt 1, # 12.

5.Release tension from the drive belts.
a. Loosen the hex nut # 7 on tension block assembly
2, # 8.
b. Loosen the two (2) support bracket assembly
mounting bolts # 10. Access from underneath the
support plate.
c. Turn the tension bolt # 11 (CCW) to remove ten-
sion from drive belt 2 and 3, # 13 and 14.
6.Disassemble the output shaft drive assembly.
a. Loosen two (2) output shaft support bracket mounting
bolts # 19B. Do not remove.
b. Remove two (2) output shaft support bracket mount-
ing bolts # 19A.
7.Disassemble link arm from front drive link assembly.
a. Loosen two (2) link bar mounting bolts #27 on each
link bar. Loosen the link bars at the front drive link
assembly #25B.
b. Remove the grease pin #28 from both link arms.
I :
MPORTANT
Do not loose the brass thrust washers from inside the link arms.
Note the position of the thrust washers for reassembly.
8.Disassemble the servo drive assembly from the frame.
a. Using a suitable lift, support the servo drive assembly
from underneath the support plate #1.
I :
MPORTANT
Use care the servo drive assembly weighs 150 - 200 lbs.
b. Remove the electrical connections from the drive
motor.
c. Remove four (4) support plate mounting bolts that
secure the servo drive assembly to the machine frame.
d. Remove two (2) side support bracket mounting bolts
#31 from each side support bracket #30.
Access mounting bolts from underneath support plate #1.
e. Lower the assembly to a height where the servo drive
belt components can be easily reached.
9.Disassemble the support bracket assembly.
a. Remove the four (4) top half support bracket assembly
mounting bolts #21.
b. Remove the two (2) top half support brackets #9.
