5. Bolt the tetra air assembly onto the machine on the actua-
tor casting.
6. Power the machine On.
1. Install the tetra jaw option at the System Installation
screen.
2. Activate/deactivate the tetra jaw function from the pro-
gram setup screen.
3. Follow normal temperature and timing for jaw setup.

ECOVERY ROM AN
If an E-stop becomes necessary, the default when the machine is reset
will be for the right jaw to fire first.
From a controlled stop, the software remembers the last jaw fired, and
will default to the next jaw in sequence.
KNIFE ASSEMBLY

Use caution when working in the knife area. The knife edge is
extremely sharp and cuts even when brushed against.
The knife is housed in the front jaw assembly. Operating in an orbital
motion, it swings out of a recess in the front jaw, cuts through the film,
and passes into a recess in the rear jaw. At the end of the dwell time,
the knife retracts back into the front jaw.
Regardless of the knife FROM/TO value, it does not operate until the
jaw close proximity switch on the rear of the jaw frame activates. This
occurs when the jaws are completely closed and the actuator shaft is all
the way to the rear. This is a safety feature to prevent the knife from
striking the rear jaw face if the knife operated too soon in the cycle.
