The creasing assemblies must be aligned with the corner of the tube
and with the two film guides on the tube above and below the rollers.
The tube is vertically adjustable in the forming shoulder to align the
rollers with the film guides. This is done by loosening the adjusting
block at the top of the assembly, sliding the tube up or down, and then
locking it in place. Once this is done, realignment is not necessary
unless the former is disassembled.
The tucking assembly is actuated by a cam follower on the jaw carrier.
Tucking Assembly
Two air cylinders with a constant regulated air pressure of 20 - 30 PSI
holds the tuckers against the cam. The tuckers extend when the jaws
close. They may be timed independently to allow them to retract after
the jaws open.
The top tuckers have a height adjustment, a depth adjustment, and a
centering adjustment as shown in the drawing.
