Unwind Manual - Allows the operator to control the direction and dis-
tance the unwind moves. Touching the Accu-Track right or left touch-
pads moves the unwind and film in the corresponding direction.
The amplifier receives signals from the eyes and sends signals to the
machine controller to make film corrections. Two red LEDs (one for
each eye) are located on the front of the amplifier. The green LED is
always on and the red LED illuminates when film is sensed.
For some older model baggers, the position of the Accu-Track bracket
(right or left) is set through a switch located on top of the amplifier
box.
There is a sensitivity adjustment for each eye. Before making adjust-
ments, verify the film is above the eyes.
1.
Open the cabinet.
2.
Remove the clear cover around the Accu-Track potenti-
ometers.
3.
Turn the screws clockwise until the red LED illuminates.
4.
Replace the clear cover and close the cabinet.

MPORTANT
If running registered film, complete print registration BEFORE
setting up Accu-Track.
Manual
1. Loosen the handle to release the
Accu-Track eye mounting
bracket.
2. Move the bracket until one LED is
on and the other LED is off.
3. Tighten the handle.
When the bracket is located on the right side of the film, the eye on the
right is clear and the eye on the left detects film. When the bracket is
located on the left side, the eye on the left is clear and the right eye
detects film. The following figure indicates a correct setup.
