Hole Punch Assemblies

1. Turn Off machine power.
2. Loosen the adjusting screws.
Screws are located on the hole punch assembly attached to the rear
jaw carriage.
3. Manually extend the punch rod to its maximum extended
position.
4. Slide the cylinder mounting plate until the punch rod
extends beyond the rear jaw face to a location that pro-
duces the correct hole size.
5. Tighten the adjusting screws.
6. Restore machine power.

EALING RESSURE
1. Turn Off machine power.
2. Adjust spring pressure:
a. increase pressure - loosen the jam nut and turn the
back-up screw clockwise
b. decrease pressure - loosen the jam nut and turn the
back-up screw counterclockwise
3. Tighten the jam nut.
4. Restore machine power.

UNCH OD EMOVAL
Remove the punch rod for cleaning/sharpening:
1. Turn Off machine power.
2. Loosen the setscrew.
3. Slide the punch rod out of the mounting block and through
the rear jaw face.
4. To sharpen, grind the bevel on the rod until the edges are
sharp.
5. Install the punch rod.
6. Restore machine power.

UNCH YLINDER IMING
Set the timing of the punch cylinder to extend the punch rod just after
the jaws close. Verify the rod is held out only long enough to cut the
hole. If it is held out too long, sealant builds up on the rod and bushings
and causes erratic operation. Timing is set on the operator interface.
