3.Adjust Jaw Linkage Resistance
a.
Manually close the jaws by turning the drive belt.
b.
As the jaws approach the closed position, observe the
link arm position and the resistance feeling on the
drive linkage.

1 = Drive Gear/Belts
1. With the jaws fully closed, the link arms should be
in the horizontal plane.
There should be no resistance above or below the horizontal posi-
tion. Resistance should be felt when the drive linkage locks in the
horizontal position.
2. If no resistance is felt when the drive linkage locks
in the horizontal position, loosen bolt on the collar
clamp and turn the collar clamp away from the
compression spring 1/8 turn and re-tighten the
clamp bolt.
Adjustments must be made the equally to both collar clamps on
each side of the front jaw carrier.
