1 = Knife Retainer
2 = Knife
3 = Rear Jaw
4 = Knife Linkage
5 = Front Jaw
1. Remove machine power and lockout the machine.
2. Lift the knife retainer from the pin and swing to the side.
3. Lift the knife blade off the pin and slide it out of the jaw.
4. Place the new knife blade on the pin.
5. Slide the knife retainer into place.
6. Restore power.
1. Remove machine power and lockout the machine.
2. Verify the knife is fully retracted and the air cylinder is
fully extended.
The knife position is correct when the tips of the blade are flush with
or 1/32" inside the front jaw face.
3. If the knife blade position is incorrect:
a. loosen the jam nut on the knife air cylinder shaft
b. turn the shaft into, or out of, the rod end until the knife
blade is in the correct position
c. re-tighten the jam nut
4. Restore machine power.
