CORRECTIVE ACTION
Follow the procedures provided in this
manual for correct setup.
Set the overpull high enough to remove all
slack in the film between the measuring
roller and the pull belts
I
:
MPORTANT
If the overpull is set too high, the
film may billow out on the front and
rear of the tube. This can cause
incomplete or missing seals.
1.To make the side seal smaller, adjust
the finger guide for the side seal away
from the forming tube.
2.To make the side seal bigger, adjust the
finger guide for the side seal toward the
forming tube.
1.Adjust the side seal platen so that it is
lined up directly with the side seal backup
film guides.
2.Verify the side seal platen strikes the
backup, not the forming tube.
I
:
MPORTANT
Do NOT make this adjustment
unless it appears the film is being
pulled under the side seal film guide
as it travels through the pull belt
zone.
Making small changes, tilt the pull belt
angle until the film is pulled straight down
the tube.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Air line must equal or exceed size of inlet
on filter regulator.
Remove filter and clean.
Drain water regularly. The filter is ineffective
once the water reaches the filter element.
It is best to have a short line connected
directly to the main air. Additional connec-
tions cause a pressure drop and stop the
machine.
