For proper operation of the bagmaking machine, the registration roller
and upper feed roller assembly must be clean and free of dirt and con-
tamination.
1.
Clean the rollers frequently with soap and water.
2.
Install new rollers when wear is evident.
PRINT REGISTRATION
The film pull is synchronized by registration marks (eyespots) on the
succession of bags. Print registration is the reference between the loca-
tion of a registration mark to the cutoff location on the bag. Print regis-
tration is maintained by the registration mark scanner, which senses the
registration mark on the film.

MPORTANT
False registration mark triggers may cause erratic machine opera-
tion. If this occurs, troubleshoot the film and registration assem-
blies.
When the registration mark sensor senses an eye spot, a signal is sent to
the controller. The controller switches from pulling film a specified bag
length to pulling the remaining placement value in millimeters. The
eye spot allows the bagger to reference the cutoff to the jaw location.
