HUT FF AND RESSURE
The shut-off and pressure relief valve is solenoid operated. When ener-
gized, it allows air to flow to the machine functions. When de-ener-
gized, it stops the air flow and removes air pressure from the cylinders.

AUTION
This valve does not control the air to the pull belts.
An air pressure switch is located in the electrical cabinet. It detects
when the air pressure is not adequate for proper machine operation. If
the pressure drops below 40 PSI, the machine stops and the display
reads "Low Air Pressure."

MPORTANT
All pressure switches are factory set at 60 psi. Because of differ-
ences in air supply, it is possible that a machine can pass factory
testing and contain incorrect pressure switch settings for the
installation facility. When the machine is installed at a site with
less than ideal air supply, the incorrect pressure setting is likely to
cause operating problems.
Flow control valves meter the air exhausted from cylinders and allow a
free flow of air to feed the cylinders. By adjusting the flow control
valves, the speed of the cylinder is controlled.
Norgren systems are used on the Ultima SU and TR machines only.
The dump valve does not allow full airflow until downstream air pres-
sure reaches 50%-80% of inlet pressure. Set the charging time (from
0.2 seconds to 76 seconds) by adjusting the flow adjuster located on
top of the flow valve.
