Verify Empty Bag Speed is below 100.
Must be below 100 in order to set Jaw Open Percent to 100.

Set Jaw Open Percent to 100.
7.
Open and close the jaws and verify:
a. crank linkage is vertical/crank (jaw) linkage is level
b. jaws do not contact the front support bracket
c. jaws do not contact the jaw motor
If the jaw is pushing against anything, repeat the
procedure.

MPORTANT
Do not allow the jaws to slam or have excessive bounce in either

direction. A slight bounce when the jaws open is normal.
After making an adjustment, allow the machine to complete
•
several cycles and then inspect the results
Generally, if there is bounce with little noise, there is too much
•
cushion. If there is slamming, more cushion is required.

The jaw open and close speed controls and cushions are factory set for
maximum speed with minimum bounce. If adjustment becomes neces-
sary:
1.
Remove machine power.
2.
Turn the jaw open speed control counterclockwise to
completely open the jaw speed control.
