VOLUMETRIC FEED SYSTEM
The volumetric product feed system measures product by volume and
feeds by gravity. The labeled drawing below shows the various compo-
nents in the volumetric.

The volumetric is mounted on top of the bagger. The telescoping cups
are mounted on a revolving plate and driven by a DC drive motor.
Each cup has a cam operated trap door on the bottom which swings
open to dump the product down the tube at a preset time in the cycle.
