Pull Belt Centering

NON CMB PULL BELTS
Non CMB pull belts are turned by a transmission through drive shafts,
and only turn when a signal is received from the clutch/brake drive
board.
Pressure
Washers
1.
Open the front doors.
2.
Turn the pressure handwheel counter-clockwise to move
belts away from the former.
3.
Turn the pressure handwheel clockwise to move belts
toward the former until both belts are approximately 1/4
inch from the table.
4.
Center the belts to the former.
a. loosen starwheel lock knob
b. loosen the centering starwheel
c. turn the top of the starwheel to move the assembly left
or right.
5.
Turn the pressure handwheel to move belts toward or
away from the former.
a. apply pressure with the pressure handwheel until the
pressure washers (on back of pull belt castings) free
spin.

MPORTANT
Do NOT exceed 1/16" gap on washers.
6.
Examine gap between belts and former for equal distance
on each side.
It may be necessary to adjust again after running the machine.
7.
Use centering starwheel to fine tune centering.
8.
Lock the centering locking knob.
