To setup the machine to produce a flat bottom bag:
1. Turn Off machine power.
2. Remove the end seal knife.

Removing the end seal knife will help prevent injuries.
3. Remove the forming tube.

MPORTANT
If flat bottom bags were run on the machine previously and the
bag size is the only change, go to step 9.
4. Push the jaws closed.
5. Center the top tuckers to the center line of the closed jaws.
6. Pull the jaws open.
7. Loosen the depth adjustment bolts for the top tuckers and
move the tuckers out of the way to provide room to install
the forming tube.
8. Install the forming tube.
9. Push the jaws closed.
10. Align the centerline of the tube to the centerline of the
closed jaws and lock in place with the handles.
11. Adjust the tube back-up plate to 1/16" of the tube.
12. Use the adjusting block to move the height of the forming
tube so the top tuckers clear the tube by 1/8" to 1/4".
13. Lock in place.
14. Pull the jaws open to the width of the forming tube.
15. Line the front and rear jaw faces vertically with the front
and rear surfaces of the tube.
16. Verify the top tuckers are in the fully retracted position.
