1. Unlock the actuator.
2. Make adjustments left and right by turning the adjustment
knob.
3. Lock down the position using the actuator lock handles.

This adjustment does not involve an adjustment knob; it is a manual
push/pull adjustment. The purpose of this adjustment is to position the
actuator close enough to the forming tube to achieve full sealing pres-
sure on all seals.
1. Unlock the actuator.
2. Grasp the cylinder mounting plate 1C, and manually posi-
tion the actuator with a push/pull motion.
3. Lock down the position using the actuator lock handles.

This adjustment is similar to the Front Actuator In/Out Position, but
is performed on the rear actuator.The purpose of this adjustment is to
position the acutator close enough to the forming tube to achieve full
sealing pressure on all seals.

MPORTANT
Because the rear actuator is more difficult to reach, it is acceptable
to tap the assembly into place with a SOFT mallet.
1. Unlock the actuator.
2. Grasp the cylinder mounting plate, and manually position
the actuator with a push/pull motion or use a SOFT mallet
to tap into place.
3. Lock down the position using the actuator lock handles.

These adjustments are required to properly space and orient the plat-
ens.

IDE LATEN OSITION
Each outside platen has four lock knobs, and there are a total of 16
knobs for the four side platens - See Figure 10:
. These knobs ride on threaded rods.
