EMPTY BAGS
Use this screen to produce empty bags in either a single or continuous cycle with either regis-
tered or plain film. Empty bags mode is used for verifying placement, seam seal quality, and for
troubleshooting. The Empty Bags screen provides access to the Machine Setup 1, Machine
Setup 2, Options, and Temperature Control screens.

In the case of Single Cycle mode, the cycle terminates at

358°. In the case of Continuous Cycle mode, touching
Stop ends the cycle.
The label names beside the setpoint and actual heat
•
temperature displays will be filled when the informa-
tion is entered on the Name Heat Zones screen.
Sets the speed for empty bags, measured in bags-per-minute (bpm).

MPORTANT
Empty bag speed must always be greater than filled bag speed to
ensure the bag cycle (time machine requires to make the bag -
empty bag making time) is less than the time between bag making
commands (the filled bag pace period).
